By creating an account, accessing the website, or playing Atavia, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Rules and Privacy Policy, which form part of this agreement.

You must be at least the minimum age required to consent to the processing of personal data in your country (16 in much of the EU, unless a lower age is set locally). If you are under the age of 18, you may only use the Service with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that takes place under your account. Provide accurate information when registering, and keep your recovery details up to date. You may not transfer or sell your account to others.

When using the Service you must follow our Rules. You agree not to disrupt the Service, cheat, exploit bugs, use unauthorised software, or interfere with other players' enjoyment of the game. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct that violates these Terms or the Rules.

All characters, items, currency, and other in-game content are part of the Service and have no real-world monetary value. They are licensed to you for use within the game, not sold or owned by you, and may be changed, reset, or removed at any time. Trading game content for real money is prohibited (see the Rules).

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to keep Atavia running smoothly, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data and progress will always be preserved. The Service, including game worlds and content, may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time.

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if you breach these Terms or the Rules, or where necessary to protect the Service or other players. You may stop using the Service and request deletion of your account at any time (see the Privacy Policy).

Atavia is an independent project. The Atavia name, website, and original content are the property of Atavia or its licensors. Atavia is a free, fan-made server and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the makers of any commercial game it may resemble.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any loss of data, in-game progress, or virtual items, or for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and significant changes may be announced on the website. Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Mandatory consumer-protection rights in your country of residence remain unaffected.
